| Relive the enthusiasm of the Ancient Chariot Races, at the Circus Maximus (the largest arena of its kind), circa 500 BC! The Romans celebrated over 200 holidays each year, congregating to the arenas to commemorate and be entertained. The horse-drawn chariot races were one of the favorites, eliciting a fervor of reaction from the crowds. Now you can be a part of the excitement with this newer edition (the original was made in 1989) of Ave Caesar!
Players will participate in a three lap race, in which mobility is determined by the parameters of their mobility cards. As the tracks vary in expanse, it is important to disburse the cards carefully (in order to finish the race, as well as to block the opponent's route). All players must slow down and pay homage as they ride past the emperor, adding to the importance of forethought and strategy. Rewards are based on laurels, and the player with the most, wins the game (after completing a few races)- thus gaining the glorification of the crowd!
