| Ticket to Ride - Marklin is the third game in the Ticket to Ride series. The setting for this rail road game is in Germany (as many of the Marklin model train fans would already know) and there are elements to this game that differ from its two predecessors. This Marklin Edition features such new concepts as passengers and merchandise that can be moved along the routes for extra points. In addition, the map is of a vertical orientation (meaning it is longer than it is wider). Instead of bonus points for the longest completed route, the player with the most completed destination tickets claims the bonus points. This game and the Ticket to Ride series is the recipient of several international awards, among them the "Speil des Jahres" (German for "Game of the Year") award. Perfect for families, experienced gamers, or model train enthusiasts!
